anyone had any luck with this? I remember a while ago my GI used to promote it till he went to Align but I have not tried either yet.

Yes it is the only living thing over the counter I will use along with VSL#3. I have tried others and had bad reactions. I usually take this about 1 week out of every month. Digestive Advantage of any variant was no miracle for me.

I have a box of Florastor that I just bought yesterday and have been taking two a day so far

I have also used this in the past and found it helpful. Right now I am avoiding it because friend of mine in the healthcare field said that with being on steriods right now that Florastor could potentially have some negative consequences as far as a fungal infection is concerned. Not sure about the veracity of this, but thought I would pass it along in any event.
