Apriso

Has anyone had good results with Apriso?  I was taking Lialda but my insurance won't cover it anymore, so doctor gave me script to Apriso.  I'm in the middle of a pretty bad flare up so I would really appreciate any feedback!  Thanks!

I'm on Apriso. I was in remission when I switched from Asacol to Apriso and it's kept me in remission (along with twice weekly enemas).

The only concern I have with using Apriso when in a flare is that the maximum dose, 4 pills a day, is a pretty low dose of mesalamine. If you aren't getting much better, ask your doctor about Asacol instead. And if you aren't on mesalamine enemas, I highly encourage you to get your doc to write you a script. They made a huge difference for me when I was flaring.
