I take it myself off and on due to possible silent gerd.

Be aware it is also associated with microscopic colitis,and even c-diff infection.

Hi Red: Don't worry sometimes the lingo is difficult for me, and I am a chemist,if I really get stuck will ask my daughter, she is a biochemist.
The association between omeprazole and cdiff and MC is not in the citations I posted. I was warning people that there is an association. The other assocation is that some have clinical improvement with omeprazole.

I believe this is what my GI called in for me today to help with nausea and cramps... worth trying it in anybodys opinion? I sure don't want cdiff!
