Humira

Hello, just another update. I've started Humira again. I did the 4 injections, then 2 a week later, and now just did one 2 weeks after. I actually think it might be helping this time! I don't hold a lot of hope that I will get into a full remission but I am feeling pretty well and frequency has decreased.

Also, my husband and I are trying to conceive our second child. I am incredibly nervous that I will have a difficult time or not be able to get pregnant at all because of all the surgeries I've had, so I really hope that's not the case

Glad you updated us! Also, I hope the Humira works better for you this time around. Is your son now age 2? You might be better off delaying pregnancy for another yr-- 3 yr-olds can do more for themselves & communicate better, too. Don't make things harder on yourself-- my take on it. / Old Hat (30 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Thanks for the update! I'm glad you are feeling some better. Isn't it interesting how various meds can not work one time and then work well another time? I've found that, too.

congrats, I hope the baby sticks since that's what you want.
I am pregnant too, due at the end of October.
My son will actually only be exactly 2 when I deliver so I hope that I continue to feel well.

     Congrats Pam!!!  I often wonder how you are because you have had such a tough time.  I pray for you though, every night.  I hope you have a healthy baby and that you will feel better too.
