cipro or flaygle effects, help

so i have been taking these for about 2 weeks since going to the ER and i dont know if this is a reaction but on my side where my hip is up to my waist, i wake up with this intense pulling in my side, not sure if its a tendon, and really sore feeling on my hid bone, on the same side, in this same area there is a part of my skin that is also supper sensitive to touch, i scratched my hip once cause it was itchy while sleeping and there are welt like marks that have been there and not changed for 4 days. its not a hive cause the area isnt ichy at all only the one time i scratched it, (feels like a burn) i feel like a hypochondriac or something but these are all not normal things i have going on, ANYONE experience this type of pain/weirdness???? im not going to take the meds anymore. Please let me know!!!!

Are you having a flareup? Which side is the pain on? What'd you go to the ER? What other drugs are you on? I would not stop taking meds without talking to the Doc first.

I went to the ER cause I had a flare up and they did a CT scan and said it was UC. They gave mw the drugs that was 2 weeks ago and I finbally go in for a consolt this mon with GI doc, but I feel better now like nothing happened does that mean I'm not in a flare up anymore?

Oh and the pain is on my rightside hip and waist not the tummy I'm taking zoloft and just started probiotics and enzyms, and I'm 32. Oh and when I said I feel better I mean with the UC not the hip pain

I would get it checked out. There is a black box warning for cipro about tendon ruptures. I have no idea what it could be but I would get it checked out.

     Following my operation last June, I developed a hematoma inside the anus, which had to be drained.  My surgeon placed me on Cipro.  The third day I could barely get out of bed.  I phoned him and he immediately took me off the Cipro.  I found this odd because when I suffered with UP, my GI doctor had me on Cipro a few times along with Flagyl and I never had those symptoms.  Could be that I was on prednisone with the UP and the prednisone covered up the pain.  Oh well, who knows.  All I know is that I cannot take Cipro anymore...lol.
