Warm sensation...

My other symptoms have been in decline. The muscle twitching I was talking about earlier seems to have calmed down and there is far less bood/mucus in my stool. The muscle pain might be down because of the magnesium supplements I've been taking (I might have a deficiency there).

Anyway, I"ve been getting some very minor joint pain in my ankles/wrists as is common with UC, however my lower back is kind of warm. Not really warm to the touch, it just feels warm. Anyone ever get this?

I call it being lit up ... I think for me it is more radiating joint problems from the hips, pelvis, back. I've found that soft massage really calms that down. Also - I've become a big believer in wraps for the joint problems ... whether they are neoprene braces, ACE bandages, whatever. It's amazing how much pain they relieve ... pretty much saved my life over the past month plus and allowed me to be able to walk and use my hands.

I still can't seem to get the signature to work, hmm.

Anyway, thanks for the advice everyone! I have an anxiety disorder and I analyze the crap out of some of my symptoms. I've convinced myself that I was dying on more than one occasion in the past year or so, only to have doctors laugh at me. Gah. Nice to know other people share some of my symptoms.

Quincy: I was sitting in my office chair and I kept wondering why it was so hot. Then I realized that I, myself, am radiating heat whenever I sit down. It's a bit scary but now that I know what it is I'm not so worried.

I have an appointment with a Gastroenterologist on the 25th.. still up in the air about whether or not to go on prednizone. My stool alternates between bloody and not bloody almost on a daily basis.

I might have to go on prednizone however as we don't get sick days here in South Korea. I've already taken a morning off to go see a doctor last week and they're still giving me grief about it. :(
