Just curious, bike week is in June (Molly Hatchet is the band this year)and it's a great time. I would really like to meet other Michigan peeps that I can connect with, who understand what I'm going through and vise versa. I don't want a pity party peeps but inspirational peeps, we can make it!

I was born in Saulte Saint Marie Michigan and have a big Kawasaki 1600 but have no plans to return :)

Where is it? And what date? Me and the hubby take the bike out a lot in the summer. He's got a Harley Electraglide.

I'd love to go riding with fellow UC sufferers but unfortunately I live abroad and ride a sport bike (currently a Honda CBR 250) which is two strikes against me. All the best, though!

It's June 10th - 17th www.ogemawbikeweek.com or you can google Ogemaw Fairgrounds, we have one of the best fairgrounds in Michigan is what I'm told!

I will ask the hubby and some fellow riders to see if they are up for it. And if they are, I will email you :) We have a good friend who just recently (well in January) had surgery to repair a torn bicep muscle so if he is healed and ready to ride, him and his wife will be joining us. We normally ride with approximately 8 people, more or less depending on availability.

Ogemaw is not that far from us really - maybe about 2'ish hours so if the weather is nice, it will make for a nice ride.

I live in Michigan, but no bike :-( Anyone here that wants to see a beautiful State in the Summertime, ride with him to Northern Michigan!! I love this State!!

Yes, Michigan is extremely beautiful in the summer, especially in the UP near the falls. Spectacular scenery. The only thing I hate about MI is the abundance of deer! We've already hit two and nearly swiped one the other day.

You should go to the fair grounds anyway Deacon. I have been to a couple of Harleyfests and the sheer magnitude of bikes are awesome regardless if you ride or not.

I don't ride but I'm going hiking lol. Of course when I pick a time to do something everyone else has to do something too =(
MI is pretty though, I love it.
