Question about colon biopsy..

Has anyone else who had a colon biopsy ever recall noticing colon tissue in the toilet after a BM? I have noticed it a few times since having my biopsy and didnt know if it was normal to see that mixed in with the stool..

You mean actual flesh from your colon?

Yeah, they referred to it as "tissue sloughing"

I've never noticed that after my biopsies and I thought that shouldn't happen seeing as the size of a biopsy is so tiny but perhaps I am wrong. Are you sure it's colon tissue?

They said could it be from the extra irritation from the biopsy to my already inflamed colon...it was basically explained to me that the colon was shedding the inflamed essentially dead tissue. Just wasn't sure if anyone else had encountered it..
