Is it best to take prednisolone in the morning?

Does it matter when you take prednisolone? Is it best to take it in the morning?

If you want to sleep at night, it's best to take it in the morning.

I always took it in the morning. I agree with Sue, although I couldn't sleep while on pred regardless of when I took it, I had a better shot if I took it earlier in the day.

According to my GI doc your natural cycles from your adrenal glands are around 9 am and 6 pm. So it is best to take the dose all in the morning before 9 am, or if your doc wants you to split your dose than before 9 am and by 6 pm.

I always take mine in the morning.

I had heard something similar to cupcakes - except I'd heard one's adrenal glands kicked in at 8 am and 4 pm, so that's when I took my pred when I split the dose. (When I took it all at once I took it in the morning.)
