I had my temp loop ileostomy and pouch formation done a month ago, however due to a few problems I was finally discharged from hospital last Weds. I have experienced a high amount of leakage from the back passage with clear fluid and mucus since the op. I have been told I just have to put up with it til I have the 2nd op. Anyway I noticed this morning that I seem to have started leaking a small amount of blood aswell. Is this normal?! I am on my period too, I do know that the blood is not a result of this but maybe the period has caused something to happen to make me bleed rectally?! I don't know!
