Back home to Ga now, my sisters wedding was beautiful.   The strange thing I noticed is that my body really cooperated with me this weekend.   I was able to do the car ride with no probs.   No BMs until I got to NJ and it was almost normal!!  No cramping or nausea so I got to eat, drink and be merry at my sisters wedding, then the 14 hour ride home was great too!  Course once I reached my door I ran to the bathroom! lol   Makes me wonder about mind over matter though..................whatever the reason I was able to do it!!

Yay! I'm so glad it all worked out for you!

I've noticed the same thing - unless I'm flaring uncontrollably, my gut will often cooperate with me when I'm in a really important situation. I figure it must be some kind of chemical signals from brain to gut.........

    NJ traffic will cause BM's in anybody....I'm a Jerseygirl..lololol.

Great to hear all went well. Yes, the mind/body connection is interesting.

But remember that when we're away from our environment, our adrenaline levels increase as well as our cortisol levels...making things much better.
When we start to relax and the levels taper off....things can get awry once again.

Make sure you don't slack on your meds...

Wonderful that the wedding was beautiful and that your UC didn't give you any troubles. I find that it's always a relief when these events are in the past!

Yes Quincy, I surely won't! I am so glad this turned out well..... Yay, I feel like I lived normally for 2 days!! :)
