Medic Alert ID - call your order in and confirm engraving!!!

I just got my Medic alert ID...and guess what? They left off my condition of UC! Boy I was pissed! This is the reason I wanted the darn thing anyway! I just got off the phone with customer service and their "system" doesn't recognize our condition for pre-hospitalization reasons! The customer service agent had to talk to her supervisor then to a nurse to get the approval to add it. You would think they would call to let you know of any changes to the engraving!

Well I got it added but they had to move some thing around as they couldn't fit everything. They even try to tell me "colitis" is the same as UC as the couldn't fit the whole thing!

If you order any of these ..do it over the phone and get confirmation of what will be engraved.

How frustrating! When I had my bracelet made, I had no issue. It may depend on where you have it done. I found out that they now have Id flash drives. You download all your info on there and wear it either in a necklace or bracelet - I thought it was pretty cool :)

LOL, I really have no clue! It was many years ago. I don't have the flash drive one yet but I was thinking about getting it. Here is one site but all you have to do is put in the search "flash drive medical alert ID's or bracelets" and you will get a ton of hits.
