Today I was bloated with painful gas in my lower bowel that was making me miserable. In desperation I checked google and found this antigas medication Simethicone "De-Gas"

I picked some up from the pharmacy and I am pleasantly surprised.

The gas has gone. Anyone else used this or something similar?

Simethicone is in most anti-gas otc meds. I get a lot of painful gas when I am flaring and sometimes it works for me and sometimes not so much. I prefer Gas-X.

For me since developing UC none of the ant-gas stuff seems to help but before UC it sure did. Probiotics have helped tremendously. Some days a bit more than others.
