This organization is fantastic! I ordered it online just a few days ago and it came today in the mail from Philadelphia.
Plastic credit-card-size/weight, very professional
I also looked at ccfa's website and they wanted me to join before they'd send one. :-(

Why did I order one when I'm doing so much better? I'm taking a cross-country plane trip in August and didn't want to get anxious about "what if" the plane is grounded for any length of time, or any other unanticipated horror. This will definitely ease my mind and lower anxiety. I haven't flown in 5 years.

I asked my GI doc at our meeting last week about getting a card for this and she had no idea but was willing to sign anything I sent her. She suggested contacting my primary doctor (yeah that would've been soooo easy to do lol).

I'm going to email her/her nurse with this website so she knows for future patients. Whoohoo. I love good news in the mail.

Same here Hekela...I joined the CCFA and never got my card but I DID get it with one of my flyers from some drug company - go figure!

Yes, I got mine a few months ago from the same place - just in case I needed it.

I did join  CCFA for the card, which never came :(

I think every UCer and Crohns patient should be a "card carrying" person.

The question is, if you have to use it, what is the reaction you're going to get?

Especially at long lines at ladies' room at the airport?

I would hope they would have some empathy once you show the card...

Anyone have any experience as to showing the card? Just curious....

I tried signing up for this for my son and after putting in 4 valid email addresses kept getting an error message.   Would be interested to hear if anyone else has success getting this card from this website.

I am also going to try CCFA because I did join that and never got any card or offer for a card.

Slight error on the website, which made me laugh.

It says postal code, which is a Canadian term and not American. The irony behind this is that Canadian's can't order the card from this website. Go figure.

I have had mine a few years but never been carded! lol. I have actually had it ready a few times, but I think people see the innate fear in your eyes when you say "I HAVE to go to the bathroom."

I did this on a plane that was descending several months ago, and am amazed the guy let me go. I imagine I had that look in my eyes... one of those weird times it hits you out of nowhere. It was a bumpy ride on the toilet, lol.
