Stopping Humira, a good idea?

Hello guys.
I know it's been a while since I updated my Humira + LDN thread.

Anyways, I still remember the IV steroids not even helping me get into remission and took oral prednisone(40mg then moved up to 60mg) for more than 3 weeks with no results and ended getting hospitalized. I thank the members of this forum for giving me precious and brilliant tips to stay out of this horrible trouble.

I have completely changed my diet and stuck with it. Started doing a lot of cardio since the discharge on daily basis, which has helped me tremendously. Started from one spot walking then to walking then finally, moved up to running gradually. Gained almost 20lbs and 13lb away from my original weight. Mostly muscles, I still have less than 10% bodyfat.

Funny how I couldn't gain weight from weight gainers like Ensure but real food such as white rice/barley/brown rice/boiled potatoes + lean meat truly helped me put on some quality weight.

When I was on the SCD diet, I couldn't survive due to consuming less than 50g of carbs a day. Everyone's different, once again, and I can't live off of mainly protein.

I'm able to eat salads, tomatoes with seeds, and walnuts again without any issues. Also, I can drink goat milk now with no issues but cow milk triggers some IBS symptoms.
My stool size and color are great although it's not quite the same as before I was diagnosed.

I usually go to the bathroom once every other day now. Seems like I'm absorbing the food pretty well. And, I run at least 4 miles a day and hit the gym 4 times a week.

I haven't told my GI yet and it's been almost 4 weeks since I didn't inject myself with Humira. I know it's not wise...
I'm still taking Pentasa and LDN every other day though.

I will develop antibodies probably and it might not work in the future if I stop now. Am I taking this too lightly?

I was already in remission before starting Humira but I think Humira helped me get to the next level of remission. Meaning hm.. stool's thickness improved to 4-6 thumbs put together.

Humira has been my life line, i wouldn't stop it unless I chose to go towards surgery.

When I was in my 20's I would do very well on sulfasalazine, sometimes I would stop it and then inevitably the flare would come back after a few months. I think that my is why initially only the first 15cm of my colon were affected and now my whole colon is.

For me personally I have to be on something forever.

What is your next step drug? I mean if humira does not work for you and what you are on now does not work, what can you take next?

I don't have any other next step drugs. I had to stop 6mp due to the spread of bad rash, severe nausea on Imuran, I couldn't breathe during the Remicade infusion(weird, adverse reaction?), and Asacol worsens any flare ups.

I pretty much know the causes of my previous flares, that's why I was considering going off of Humira.

I can tolerate Pentasa, Colazal, Canasa, Humira, Prednisone, or IV steroids without experiencing ANY side effects. I don't even get moon face while on steroids...

Peety, well, Humira didn't put me into remission. Humira upgrade my remission state. I was having no blood, diarrhea, and mucous before going on Humira. And I was going 1-2 a day to the bathroom at max.

But Humira helped me to go the bathroom once every other day now lol. Bigger stool size. Sometimes the circumference of it is about half the size of my forearm. Sorry for being too graphic. And my forearms are decently sized from bodybuilding.

Anyways, I'll stay on Humira. I wasn't thinking about the future. Thanks for the tips :]
