What tests does your doctor order for your colitis?

Usually mine check my WBC and CBC along with my liver enzymes because I'm on 6mp (ALT or AST I believe it's called). I have mine checked every 3 months.

cant you see the liver enzymes in the metabolic panel or is it a seperate test? Thats why i worry all these meds w the liver!!!

Metabolic panel for Imuran or 6mp? Prometheus? No, that test just checks to see how your metabolizing the medication. The AST or ALT check for liver enzymes - if it's elevated than your body can not take the doses at high levels or not at all.

What meds are you on at this time?

no a basic metabolic panel for a female......wbc ..rbc...crp tsh
