And it has NOTHING to do with UC or my fistula.

This morning, I was working on the computer, sitting at the desk, when I felt something tickling my upper leg, right near my bum.  I scratched it, and the next thing I knew, I got stung!  It's all the way at the top of my hip, almost my bum!  shocked

Anyway, here's hoping yellow jacket stings heal fistulas!  Wouldn't that be something!

Just what you needed! (And good thing you have a sense of humor ... ) At this time of yr yellow jackets in NY seem to turn very hyper-- getting in their last licks before frost kills them off, I guess. / Old Hat (30 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)

Well, I did find the little *$^#! and killed him, so I did get my revenge! :) It mostly just itches right now.

Oh wow, that sucks! I've been getting wasps in my apartment since I moved here earlier this year. I think I've had at least 5 different times where there was a wasp in here. I don't know where they come from. And I'm too scared to try to kill them so thankfully they usually die by the next day.

YIKES!!! not a target I'd think a wasp would seek..lol..seems an opportunist wasp to me.

They're definitely in abundance most everywhere. I've heard of a few people getting stung this summer, one client got stung 5 times in one instance, and my husband got stung twice by one wasp on his neck.

Hope your butt gets better soon.

I've seen programs about people use bee and wasp stings to counteract the immune system.

I had something similar happen, felt a tickle, went to scratch and got stung - by what I have no clue because it was some odd bug (I was in Georgia at the time). It happened on my arm and my forearm swelled up. But sad to say, it didn't help my Uc any! lol
