Calves/ankles swollen from medicine?

Its only my 3rd week on Prednisone and just day 4 out of 10 days on Flagyl antibiotic, is there any reason why my ankles/legs/calves feel so sensitive and swollen? I usually work out regularly but i'm just trying to take it easy on my body, do yoga maybe a few times a week... anyone else experience this? Other than that side effect i'm ofcourse feeling tired and worn out.

Ahhhhh horrible! Yes he did, i'm not currently taking asocol, as my insurance wouldnt cover the $397 dollars it is, but more importantly that i'm going to try working with my medical doctor and naturopathic doctor for natural results.
For now its just prednisone and flagyl.

Prednisone causes me to swell horribly in my calves and ankles. Try eating a low sodium diet.

Also, very important if you have taken any type of 5ASA such as sulfasalazine, lialda or asacol you need to have the "proteins in your urine" checked out asap. These can cause kidney disease in a very small percentage of people on these drugs and the symptoms are swollen calves and ankle's and foamy urine. There was a person on here recently who had this happen to them and the kidney disease was able to be reversed because they caught it quickly.

I have this disease but was undiagnosed for 7 years and am still battling it. I went to the Dr'.s many times and they were no help until my current GI.

I already have bladder issues, like burning sometimes or urgency to go... my doctor and everyone else believes just my whole digestive system is out of whack, but i pray nothing else is wrong!!
