Remicade causing psoriasis

Going for my fourth infusion on mon. But think I might have a patch of psoriasis on my inner wrist. I thought it was poison ivy, but have since made the connection. Think I will say no to the next infusion.

gotta love those wacky drugs- they use it for psoriasis, yet in some weird twist, it can also cause psoriasis! Sorry about that, if it was helping your UC.

It can also cause Lupus (Remicade induced Lupus) That happened to my niece when she was on it for her Crohn's. She stopped taking it and the Lupus went away thank goodness. That Remicade is nasty stuff.

It hasn't worked anyway, I had my worse flare ever after the first and second, I think because I had totally stopped hydrocort for the first time in four years, then was back on pred for my third in fusion. Aim at 2.5 now and at seven weeks and am flaring again. I think the last 9 weeks were good because of the pred, not the Remicade.

Strange how Remicade is a miracle for some people,,like my son,,,,and for others,,,just doesn't work...hmmmmm

until then do not stress yourself. it does not have to be psoriazis...
