Are you sure you just don't have a bug? It is that time of year.

Hi turn:
I hear you. Before your accident did you clench really hard? I have found that when I have a stressful accident (as opposed to regular accidents) I get a really bad case of chills, shivers and a bit of fever. I posted it here a few weeks ago but didn't get any replies. I'm curious about
this too because it happens to me a lot. I have no idea what it is though. I have to stay in bed covered with a blanket and hot pad for about
an hour afterward. I also find that taking a tylenol helps.
I'll be curious to see if you have any other responses. Hope you get to feeling better soon.

Sounds like a bug to me too. If you aren't feeling better tomorrow, I would see your family physician.

I always get fevers and the chills during a very very bad flare. If you having fevers tylenol is ok for UC but ibupr
open will make symptoms worse.

turnpkegates and especially Guategirl I can definitely relate to your descript
ions.
It's happened to me a few times now that if I try really hard not to go this will be followed by really severe chills (recently had a fever that lasted close to 24 hours following an occurance of this while jogging).
I'm almost certain that if I had been near a toilet and hence been free to go when needed that I would not have felt any chills - so I'm pretty certain it's not a bug (in my case).

i get a fever and chills every time i flare. it's usually at night and then i sweat it out by the time i wake up. if you are flaring, this is pretty normal then.

well the point is the connection between severe chills and having really held in a bm - in my case at least it seems a really direct connection and i think thats what guategirl was saying too
