Lialda hasn't had that effect on me, but I've never been someone who lubricates a lot. I started keeping lube handy years ago. Some men think that it reflects badly on them, but they either get used to the fact that it's not about them, or else they have revealed to me an inability to see things from my perspective, so they get kicked to the curb.
There are a whole host of things that can lead to vaginal dryness, so don't feel alone. Alcohol dries you out, so does caffeine and a whole lot of drugs have that side effect as well. Also, it happens frequently to women who are in or reaching menopause. Personally, it's so unusual for me to get really wet that on the rare occasions that my boyfriend says something to the effect of "you're so wet" I start fretting that I must have gotten my period LOL
I recommend Liquid Silk, but everyone has her favorites. One thing you should be aware of is that you need a water based or water soluble lube. Do NOT use oil based lubes, vaseline, mineral oil, or olive oil, etc. as these are not compatible with condoms and also they don't naturally rinse out of the body. Also, consider lubes without glycerin (which means no flavored lubes, among other things, but check the labels, as they will tell you the necessary info). I didn't realize that I had a sensitivity to glycerin for a number of years, but then I decided to try glycerin-free lube just for information's sake, and all of a sudden I stopped getting bacterial infections. Who knew?
Water based lubes dry out more quickly than oil or silicone based lubes, but you can restore their slipperiness with a little spit or what have you.
Let me know if you'd like more information or recommendations.
