What did you eat with the beef?
I have no problems with beef, however I make sure to eat all meats (lamb, beef, bison) and eggs from grass-fed animals vs. grain fed animals. It makes a huge difference in inflammation. BTW organic does NOT equal grass-fed necessarily.
The reason grain fed animal products (beef, chicken, lamb, eggs) are inflammatory is because their omega 3 to omega 6 ratio is approx. 1:20, ideally this ratio should be 1:1, and with grass-fed products is it, thereby anti-inflammatory.
