Cured After at-home Human Bacteria Transplant from Husband (at home and easy)

I haven't been on in almost a year. My husband kept telling me I needed to log back in and share my news. After being diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis I had been on SCD diet for almost 8 months back in 2010 and I praise SCD as an all-natural maintenance diet (maintenance because when you go off, your symptoms come back in a few months). SCD is great but tiring. I have been 100% drug and symptom free for almost a year with no need for SCD diet after HBT.

At first I was reading about HBT and was grossed out and wasn't into trying it (as I am sure you will be after reading the below). But as I read the success stories and got more comfortable sharing them with my husband, we decided to give it a try. The process makes sense. Studies show that colitis is related to bacterial deficiencies, and it is known that probiotics do not contain the top 50 bacteria natural to the human digestive system. Where bacteria is deficient, the obvious solution is to replace the bacteria from a healthy human specimen. Its gross and for that it is overlooked. But it is WORTH IT!

Yes you can do it with a doctor and have the sample tested and that is the recommended way. But I know that my husband has no bacterial issues and my symptoms have been a result of antibiotic use on and off throughout my life, antibiotics which killed off the bad AND the good bacteria (antibiotics cannot differentiate - this is why antibiotics cause yeast infections and digestive system infections, colitis etc). He has no history of antibiotic use and is a very healthy and "regular" person. Anyway, my symptoms were mucus and blood and painful gas. I had him give me a sample in a jar and leave it in the bathroom before he left for work. Once alone, I would mix it with cooled water that had been boiled. I would use a baby ear syringe (available at most pharmacies) to suck up and then administer the bacteria (not too much) as a retention enema. I did this for 5 days straight. After the FIRST administration, I went to the bathroom about an hour later and NO MUCUS even though there had been some earlier in the morning. None. For the first time in a long time since going off SCD. Also, this is all TMI, but the weirdest thing was that immediately after administration/absorption of the enema, when I had gas, it was so distinctly different. It didn't feel like it was all the way up in my lower stomach or upper intestines feeling painful, it was so much lower and a non-painful small normal amount. I cannot emphasize how surprising and immediate and noticeable the change was.

This was almost a year ago. Since that first administration, I have had not even the tiniest of symptoms despite leaving the SCD diet and going medication free that week. I have never felt happier or healthier to beat this thing. The pharmaceutical companies make tons of money on maintenance drugs. They fund the studies the doctors recite. Cures are not profitable. I consider myself cured, my bacteria situation is rectified. I am healthier than I was before I ever had a diagnosis of ulcerative colitis. I have been comfortably regular for almost a year, I haven't had to use a single medication since HBT. No more doctor visits. I spend my money now on healthy whole grain foods (that I couldn't eat on SCD!) and my awesome gym membership and being healthy and happy.

I have a sneaking suspicion that if everyone on these blogs tried this, within a month, the healingwell user population would be less than half.

This is just my experience. Maybe it won't work for you but who knows, maybe it will! Do your research!

HBT (human bateria transplant) is fecal matter transplant.

my problem would be getting someone else's poop. i honestly don't know anyone that would willingly give me theirs. i know my stepdad just had a clear colonoscopy but he is VERY against giving up his poop. i would LOVE to try this though. i am one of those people that will try anything before going to medications. obviously, i am taking meds but i will be off 6mp in march and remicade by the end of the year. it would be great to do this while still on the drugs so i am healthy when i get off them.

Yeah, that is odd. Why does he want to hang on to it? Make it clear to him that it could really help you get better. Some people are just way to strange, to put it kindly...
