I just had my Remicade infuision today. I got home and noticed my forearm is swollen in the the area of my injection. I was just wondering if they blew out a vein, or just a reaction.

It might be a blown vein. Is anything else swollen? Did you have premedication?

Nothing else is swollen, but my forearm near the infusion sight. I was given liquid Diphenhydramine, before the infusion. I was wondering if I got the full dose of Remicade if the vein was blown. I have been getting my infusions at the same clinic for the last year. This is the first time this has ever happened.
