Urination throughout the night - meds?

Do any out there have a problem with urinating throughout the night?
I stop drinking fluids around 7:00 but I will wake up every hour and a half or so to have a full blown release and then an hour and a half later it's the same thing again, all night. Needless to say I'm not getting very good sleep. It doesn't appear to be a prostate issue because the flow is good and strong and the amount is substantial.

Could it be the meds that are causing the night long trips to the lu.

Meds:
Prednisone - 20mg morning and 20mg night.
Imuran - 50mg morning.
Flagyl - 1 pill morning, 1 pill at night.
Lialda - 2 pills at night.

No question. My little guy was on many UC meds for the first full year and he wet the bed every night while on them. After his FT, we stopped all meds except his remi and he stopped wetting the bed.

Prednisone, Figures!
Hopefully the issue goes away as the prednisone is tapered.
Was worried that I may have developed another issue to have to deal with long term.

Not sure that it is not the prostrate, but I've had prostate issues before with allergy meds and what usally happens is the prostate enlarges flow is slow and with low volume.

This is different, with good flow and alot of volume.

So, I'm assuming that it may not be a prostate issue, that's why I asked if anyone was having issues like this while on the UC meds.

With all the rotten stuff Pred does to ya, it would not surprise me if it was the cause of the frequent urination.

i think it's the prednisone. i peed like crazy on that. my water either came our through urine or tons of sweat. usually both.

Prednisone tends to raise the blood sugar, so it may increase the frequency of urination also. You may want to check with your doctor, as some have been known to develop type II diabetes while on Pred. Good luck!
