im excited?! Today has been the best day i feel so normal? today i feel good and my energy is up. I had to go 3 times today. Once in the morning once i guess noonish and once more in the afternoon.

Before all this for a entire year! it was..

Wake up run to the bathroom go back and forth about 3 to 4 to 5 times.
Today Morning woke up? didn't have to run to the bathroom instead i got up? I got a drink sat down on the computer too check my messages...and maybe 1 hour or 2 before i had to go? No blood!

The past year has been all day at random times run to the bathroom. And today has been the best day all year... I feel normal now.


I seen my GI today He showed me the images of my colon.. Showed me the healthy part and not healthy part.. It was really nasty looking you don't got to be a DR to say hey that isn't normal.


So i continue 4 x apriso daily , 1 enema nightly for 6 weeks.
He said something about not needing the enema anymore? Or maybe he said once every other week or something i forget but i don't need to worry til then. But he said i will continue the oral meds.

sorry for the wall of Text. Its just crazy cause im so use to running daily and it all of sudden stopped? :D

Yay! Happy dance for you! :) Even if you are healed and you are doing well, I would still recommend you do the enema perhaps once every other night or at least twice a week to keep things in check even after the 6 weeks.

Funny how "normal" days can make us feel so celebratory!! (I know the feeling.) Happy for your success and hope it continues.

Are you having any urgency with your bms?

Regarding the enemas...I would hope the doctor didn't say stop using them.

At 3 times a day bms, I wouldn't think you're totally out of the flare as of yet...did the doc take a look-see with a rectoscope?

I would suggest you call the doc and get the instructions for the enemas. If he thinks you are doing well enough to start tapering..it would/should be to use it every second night.

You're definitely in a good place.

Nope feels pretty normalish compared to before.. before i had to run. but obviously when i got to go i got to go.. but im not seeing the blood and very little like tiny mucus if any not much at all before i was seeing alot with the blood and use to see blood in stool and everything but...my stools arnt fully normal formed but i can deal with that long as im not running 40 times a day.... he said i only had 10% i asked him he drew a picture it from what i saw rectum and part of the colon... But im sure he wont make me stop enemas i think he will do one every other week or day or something... that med costs alot... 1400$? or something with out insurance but i sitll got insurance for the time being but my pharmacy said alot of insurance companys will buck cause they dont wanna pay all that money...with insurance for like 4 or 5 boxes with my apriso was like 24$?
