Okay, so here's my long story short for those who don't know what's going on. I was released from the hospital last Monday after a 10 day stay for a flare. Going home I still felt kinda bad, but was happy to be going home. They didn't give me enough pain meds (20 2 mg duilodid every 8 hours), so I did go back to the er again for pain managment. I also received a dose of remicade while I was admitted for the ten days (sory pain meds are making head funny).
A few days ago my cousin tells me that her daughter has chicken pox (which I already have had) and my aunt watches thes quite often and has also been spending time with me as well. My aunt herself has already had shingles, can she be a carrier for it? I am mostly concerned because I have the worst sore throat. I showed it to the doctor and he couldn't believe how red and raw it looked, and super painful to boot! I didn't ask him this, but I realized I should have, is is possible to get shingles in your mouth?
The back of my throat literally looks like it's covered in scales and bloody. I was going to post a pic but didn't want to gross anyone out... if you want to see message me and maybe you can put my mind at ease or tell me to go to the doctor cuz I suck at stuff like that lol
I also have been running a temp of 100 (I usually never go above 97) and a pretty bad cough too.
