Headache meds for people with UC

I'm currently having really bad headaches, could be due to pollen and they are sinus headaches.
I'm taking extra strength tylenol and not getting much relief.
I feel like I need codine or morphine to rellieve the pain.

What do other UC'ers use to relieve sinus headaches?

Have you tried a allergy med? I use the CVS 24 hour allergy and it works great for ridding my headaches. I would suggest trying some if you have bad allergies causing headaches. Try to stop the cause not mask the symptom. If you do get some allergy meds start off with a small box so that you know it works for you and has no side effects that you cant deal with. Hope this helps.

On really bad days I take ibuprofen. I don't take more than one dose. If I catch my headache early enough one dose will take care of it.

I take Tylonel Sinus for sinus headaches.

I used to take ibuprofen before having UC but I've read that UC'ers are not supposed to take NSAID meds like ibuprofen and aspirin.
