It happened again. My wbc is lower than 4. It isn't 2.8 like the last time, but my family doctor is worried and wants to see me on the 24th, or earlier.
So, that means no more Imuran? I swear I'm hitting a metal wall every time with my UC. I finally have zero inflammation and this happens.
So can anyone give me ideas, suggestions, data, reports, ANYTHING?! for me to figure out my next step? You have no idea how much I want to kick my colon, or in this case, my medication. Which would be more plausible, really.
Ok, LDN is an option. I know you can combine that with 5ASA's. Now I had a bad reaction to Sulofalk back in the day, and I know a few of you on here had the same experience but were able to go on another 5ASA. Steroids are too harsh for me, trust me I know. So that isn't an option. I am NOT going on any biologics. I have bad luck as it is, and I doubt it would be good long term.
What else? And yes, I'm not ruling out surgery. You can say that it may work, it may not. But right now my head is too scrambled to search for recent data and reports to see is surgery is good or not.
I'm not taking anything off the table (except what I said above), so any or all help will more thoroughly and greatly appreciated.
