I do regular bloodwork thru directlabs.com
Platelet count - tells me a flare is coming and to watchout for stroke. 600-800 is always seen before hospitalization. Since my stroke I keep scoring a sweet 250 to 350 by hydrating better and outlawing prednisone.
Iron deficiency - tells me I could be bleeding and confirms that my blood is optimal for running/sprinting. I am currently training my daughter for sprints and I can tell without the bloodwork I have plenty of red blood cells.
Inflammatory markers - tells me if my anti-inflammatory diet is working well, and if I am overtraining and undersleeping.
Liver/kidneys - I like to see that supplements and lifestyle or high protein diet is not causing damage.
All bloodwork over last 10 years has been located and plotted in a data chart so I can see when a new measurement is an all time high or just a cyclical peak that is no cause for alarm. For example my creatinine is always HIGH but its been that way for 10 years as its stable. It is just high because I lift weights and eat a lot of protein. Without the history that would be cause for alarm.
