Many have seen this study on Crohn's.

I thought I would give CLA a shot, but it can be liver toxic so will not take too much. Will start with
1000 mg.
This synthetic CLA contains 50% of non ruminant isomer .
Right now on grass fed butter and milk.
But believe cannot get enough CLA.
From what I can research T-bet/t-reg controls dentric cells, PPARs control T-bet, certain fatty acids are
PPAR agonists.
Not taking anything else, except coconut oil, have cut out as many sources of veggie oil I can.
Gelatin experiment did not work out well, stools became rock hard, sphintcer was in lots of pain, besides have some stenosis going on which does not help.
I tend to believe that all the linoleic acid we are swimminng in, is somehow altering the way the PPARs should work to modulate the immune sys. 5-ASA has some of the same effects, but believe upregulated PPARs via CLA might be much more effective and use many other pathways.
Probably will try to eat at least a 1/2 stick kerry butter a day.
Has anyone else tried this since the first news on this study is a month old.
Will update.
Here is how they think it woks.

If this graph is anywhere near accurate it shows you a getting very little CLA from dairy when the cows are not fed grass. So I have to start to wonder what has been going on since about 1920/30 with the milk and dairy products, meat. Is CLA a missing factor.
