Has anyone tried N-acetyl glucosamine? Looks like it might have some benefit in treating UC.
CROHN'S DISEASE
The Mayo Clinic states that more research is needed on the effects N-acetyl glucosamine has on Crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis, both bowel inflammations. But the medical center's website also reports that preliminary studies reveal symptom relief when glucosamine is taken in conjunction with other therapies to treat the diseases.
