I do think that at a cancer prevention event they should truly be trying to be advocates. Hot dogs probably weren't the best choice but as some said if a person eats a hot dog every few weeks or months it probably isn't the worst thing they have done in that span. They are also cheap and an easy fundraiser. With that said, I'm just glad there is an event. I am going to try and get more involved locally and maybe I will chime in when the planning committee brings up the possibility of a hot dog sale.
Truth be told, I would love to be able to eat more fruits and veggies I just can't tolerate them much unless cooked thoroughly. I do take vitamins but sadly I can eat hot dogs all day and not have a bit of problem (usually, not during flare.) My dream is a big chef salad and a glass of OJ!
