Pro: It is not a simple trick to replace your body fat/tissue/other lipids and get down to a 2.5:1 ratio, the half life
of fat is about
600 days,so it might take 4 years to replace most of it.
The only thing I can really be sure of is that prior to around 1900,our bodies were not made up of veggie oils,to the
extent we are today. There was some in the diet, from nuts and whole grains, otherwise it was animal fat.
The problem with all these highly unsaturated fats is that they are easily oxidized, eating fish flesh may have
inhibitors that mitigate this. Taking fish oil is a fast way to get a better ratio, eating fish is much better.
So far I have gotten down, about 60 grams of fish oil,a pound of coconut oil, 4 pounds of herring
and a few pounds of Kerry Butter.
Been doing this for about a month or so,in addition have cut out all chips and stuff, and as you know even
olive oil. I only take 2 grams of fish oil a day,not the 6 they were doing in the clinical trials.
Again the trick is the ratio, if you stop eating as much omega 6 as possible then you need less fish
or other omega 3 to obtain the desired ratio.
