Confused about Remi side effects..

The paper says let your doc know if you have nausea or flu like symptoms.  I have that daily with my UC. Sometimes I ache so bad I can't get out of bed.  How am I to know when and if it's something to tell my doctor about, or just my UC symptoms? (not started Remi yet. They are checking insurance for me)

Pretty much let your doctor know if you experience side effects outside the norm for you. For me it was severe hand and elbow swelling/pain (I premed now so I don't get that anymore).

The only thing I have experienced after the remicade infusion was itching and shortness of breath. Like Sherry said, if it is out of your norm, contact your doctor.

I dont't have any side effects fro Remicade.
Remember that they have to list everything reported by users during trials, whether it had anything to do with the drug or not. So please don't psych yourself into expecting the effects listed.

i know my doctor and nurse didn't care about flu or cold symptoms. they said you could still get Remicade if you have them... even though the Remicade site says that's a bad idea. i also had a fever and was told i could still be infused. i guess it depends who your doctor is. if these are normal symptoms for you, then it won't be a Remi side effect obviously.
