Sherry, 60 would be better. Maybe higher, if you can find it. I talked with my GP and he suggested 60 spf. Reapply at least once an hour, I find that helps.
I'm the same way with the heat, but I've been like that since I was a kid. The heat just does me in.
Before the fatigue sets in, you should stay in the shade and put a damp towel either around your neck, on your stomach or head. That seems like help me cool down a bit.
