i admitted to hospital 3 months ago due to "tramadol" and from there i have gastric problems. i went to specialist my doctor say i been suffering stomach flu, but i been suffering this sickness for 3 months, i did recover 2 times but the sickness keep coming back. do people get stomach flu for tat long?

today the whole day i having a burning sensation at my chest and neck area
anyone experience the same as i do?

I had the stomach flu a long time ago and it took me around 3 weeks to get 100% better.

Doesn't sound normal to me. I haven't experienced the same thing but I have experienced mystery symptoms that 6 drs brushed off as minor- the 7th admitted me to the hospital for treatment of a massive infection in my spine. You know your body- if you think that something is wrong, find a dr who believes you.

I never experience a burning sensation in the chest and neck when I had it. I just couldn't eat anything and was very achy.

The pain in your chest is it like heartburn?

No it's different from heart burn.

It depends on your other symptoms. If you have recurrent fever, nausea, cramps, plus the burning sensation you might have a bacterial infection or gastric ulcer. (H. pylori can cause ulcers in the stomach.) Did you have an endoscopic exam yet? That would enable the doctor to detect an ulcer. / Old Hat (31 yrs with left-sided UC; presently in remission taking brandname Colazal)
