I'm puzzled you're having 2 - 3 bms a day. Are you eating an excessive amount of food or foods that would cause you more bms>
Psyllium might/might not increase your bms. I would suggest you take it with food, not inbetween. I would also suggest you start with the capsules (I use Metamucil or the SuperStore brand). You can start slow, take one with one meal..then after a few days increase to take another one with another meal..etc.
They're portable, you can take them if you eat out, etc.
Actually, I think they should even out your bms to less rather than more if it's not UC-driven.
psyllium helps to exercise and even out the rhythm of the digestive tract, especially the colon.
Try them.
Regarding the b vitamins. It would be best to take them as a multi B that's not high in each dosage. If you aren't low in B12, don't take it separately.
Definitely take a multivitamin anyway...some are higher in the multi B.
I take my meds after breakfast/fibre.
