Lomotil vs Bentyl

I have both these meds. I have to go out tomorrow to an area that has bathrooms, but kind of far between.

Which would be you pill of choice to take tomorrow before leaving?

Bentyl won't stop you from going....it's an antispasmodic.

I would think the Lomotil is what will help you.
Will it make you a bit "stoned" feeling?

Do you have any imodium?

My doctor gave me lomotil and told me to take at night because it can make you tired. I've taken it during the day and it does help but didn't make me tired at all.

I've tried both but my preference is Bentyl. I calms things down in there and doesn't make me tired IF I am moving around. For some reason if I sit still after taking Bentyl, I get super tired. Lomotil doesn't do much for me.

If you are still having urgency D issues, then I would recommend the Immodium too - if you can tolerate it.

Immodium stopped working for me 2 years ago. Even 4 of them didn't help. Had to graduate to Lomotil. I guess that's what I'll use today.
Thanks. I wasn't sure exactly what Bentyl did.
