Luck shifted to bad

I had a great run of good luck, I was closing in on 2 years remission with no meds for all but the start. I closed on the sale of my house and I closed on the purchase of a new home. Unfortunately the HOA is extremely strict here and making me take down my kids play areas, trampoline etc. Only in ground trampolines and those kits are 1500 bucks. Meanwhile dad is throwing down 1500 per day on mom in a facility because she seems to have a bit of dimentia and is overdosing on pain pills unknowingly and taking falls.

I was taking stuff down when I was moving a temp deck I built as a design aide so I would know how high I want to build my new deck. I picked up the deck about 16 feet long and was stung by a wasp or bitten by a spider. It swelled up so much I went to the hospital and they said I had an infection and had to take Doxycycline. Its really painful and the tendons hurt from typing or trying to do yardwork, just forget about bodybuilding I want to save my right arm. They did not think it was necrotic flesh eating so far.

Any success stories about Doxy ? I think I took it once for a really bad illness, only antibiotic I have taken since I was diagnosed with UC.

Interesting thing about Doxy...I was on it for a few months because I was being treated for Lyme's disease. When I first went on it I was in a UC flare. After starting it my UC symptoms decreased. I didnt go in remission but I did feel better.

It definately sounds like a spider got you.
