Rowasa vs Generic

Has anyone had better luck using Rowasa brand enemas after trying Generic Mesalamine enemas? script is always written for Rowasa. Insurance goes for generic first!

I've never even had the brand name. Would cost me significantly more with my insurance. The generic works very well for me.

I am trying the brand name for sfRowasa. I would not pay for Rowasa, because like the generics is has sulfate, only costs more. However I am considering paying for brand name sfRowasa if my trial works out. I think the mixed results I had with the generics was due to the sulfate suspension.

Going to the GI next week ,going to ask about the SFRowasa. The application bottle for the generic rowasa has a long nozzle compare to the Hydrocortisone enema. I mix half of each and use nightly. Try to use the cortisone bottle, hurts less! Crazy the things you have to do.
