It suppresses inflammation which is technically part of what the immune system does. So yes it is. This does look really promising. I wouldn't mind having an off and on cold instead of constant colitis symptoms. It's just the frequent fevers from the last experimental drug I was on that kind of kept me in bed. I wonder if I can try and get into any future trials for this drug.
