Okay, I have been taking cortifoam now for 7 days and all seemed well at 5 days when I went to the bathroom and saw no blood/mucous but today I had a tinge of blood/mucous and was wondering if I should be concerned or to do you think that the medicine is still trying to work or what.
It is so disappointing to think that yes its gone then to find the next day that you see a little blood again. I am always scared to look at the tp. I have to take the cortifoam for another 7 days.
I was diagnosed with UP a little of a year ago and I do think that that is where it is today as the blood is bright red and I almost can feel the swelling at the end sometimes when I go to bathroom as it feels it gets stuck there sometimes (gross, I know).
Doctor wanted to give me cortienema not cortifoam, but I told him I didn't think the enema would be good for me as I am not a good sleeper and to have to hold something in doesn't seem to be something that would agree with a poor sleeper. Does anyone have a hard time holding it in or am I wrong in my perception of the enema?
