Do you ever get this feeling?

I'm a Crohnie but have chronic proctitis and it always flare up. Sometimes I have a bm. After that if I need to have another bm, normally I have D, I rush to the toilette but I feel as if my rectum is closed. It's not the feeling of tenesmus, I have cramps and sometimes nausea and vomiting and even headache as if I have been constipated for days and not just had a bm. Does this happen to anyone?

Any of these feelings would relate to a flare, except nausea...which I can get at any time from some foods, odours, etc.

I would rarely have diarrhea after a normal bm. I've never vomitted. I do get nausea.

I've never felt that my rectum is closed, but I do get the feeling that it's FULL, meaning inflamed.

Can you use rectal meds?

When I have urgency sometimes just a little bit of mucus comes out. I never have the feeling that my rectum is closed up though. Are you constipated sometimes? That could happen because of the inflammation in the rectum. What meds are you on? Maybe some enemas would help since your inflammation is in the rectum.
