I have never limited the bread I eat. Mostly eat wheat bread. Didn't know if anyone had thoughts on the what type of bread to eat was better as far as UC is concerned.

I eat gluten free breads made with all sorts of flours. I have been wanting to try a wheat sprouted bread

Mostly my own homemade bread that has oatmeal and honey in it. And regular old bread flour (ie, wheat) as well. I don't have gluten issues. I do, however, prefer to avoid the preservatives in store-bought bread. And nothing smells better than baking bread. Plus, it's easy-peasy when you have a bread machine.

I eat whole wheat bread. Since switching from white to wheat, I can no longer stomach white bread...it tastes too much like dough to me now. Wheat bread is also easier on my stomach since I'm usually a little nauseous in the mornings from my acid reflux.

I eat whatever is available. I try to avoid breads with corn syrups but sometimes I eat those as well.

I am eating pretty much only homemade sourdough, starter, flour, water, salt that is it.
I am finding too much carageenan and other junk in comercial bread.

Rye bread from a bakery.. unsliced...like to cut my own Texas style.
The first year i was diagnosed, I ate rice flour bread. only toasted...otherwise, ugh. Got really expensive and I switched to the bread I still eat now.

Until I lost my colon I ate only wheat and gluten-free breads. Now I can eat anything but I still prefer gluten-free. Luckily we have four gluten-free bakeries near our home. One even makes really good bagels!!!

Being gluten and wheat intolerant, I don't eat any bread at all.
Except of course, when I'm cheating....
