Can anyone tell me if your doctors have ok the use of robaxacet (methocarbamol) while on mesalamine (mezavant in my case and salofalk enemas) - I know we should avoid NSAID drugs but not finding info on this in particular- threw out my back this AM and precently trying to get a mild/moderate flair undercontrol... Grrrr!

I've been on a few muscle relaxers and they have never bothered my Uc but if in doubt, contact your GI. I hope you feel better soon.

I've used it for years, and my GI isn't concerned about it. Purchase the back relief med (with Tylenol and not Ibuprophen) from Costco. Cheaper and works better (for some reason). it's not an NSAID.
