For the Ladies:does your period increase UC symptoms?

Hi Ladies,
I've seen a reference somewhere before on this forum that your period can increase UC symptoms. I think for me, it does. Anyone else notice this too? Even before UC, my stomach was upset during this time, and it seems to be even worse now. Just curious if I'm imagining this or whether there is something to it. Thanks!!

Yes for me I think it,s for about five days about a week and a half befor I get it.

It definitely did for me. Had a hysterectomy in 1993...best thing ever! periods were hell for me from day one, and with UC, things were always worse.
