Enemas while pregnant

I wonder if anyone know if it's safe to take enemas while pregnant ? I think I might be heading to a mini flare after stopping my 6mp few weeks back (I know, I know.....) I have some steroid & mesalamine enemas at home, would it be safe to try those before going back on 6mp?

i took them for 5 months of my pregnancy. my dr prescribed them.

I'm currently on mesalamine enemas twice weekly (to maintain remssion, would bump to nightly if symptoms appear) with the OK of my GI and OBGYN. My guess is steroid would be ok as well, given oral pred is often used during pregnancy.

If your symptoms don't ease quickly, I'd get back on the 6mp.

Thanks. I am hoping it's just a temporary blip after coming off 6mp ( I think I live in the cuccoo land :) ) I have no bleeding ro urgency, just watery diarreagh since yesterday.

I have an appointment with my GI next week, so will chat to him then again and if things won't improve, I will definitely go back on 6mp.

I'm also pregnant and using rowasa nightly. Got me out of my last flare which started at about 2 months pregnant.
Will start to taper in a few weeks.
When I do them the baby moves around a bit :)

I spoke with my GI and an OB re this in preperation for pregnancy and they both said Enemas are fine :)
