Has anybody tried these. I take VSL#3 and want to stay with i t, but my shipment is not going to get here before I run out. The best thing I could find here is the Garden of Life Probiotics which has 80 billion. I am not really sure if I should cut back my VSL#3 to make it last or if it would be worth trying this until my VSL comes in. I've read here that sometimes some probiotics have made symptoms worse. I was just wondering if anyone had tried this one before.

I would just cut back until your new shipment arrives. It shouldn't take too long. VSL has to be shipped fairly quickly because it is supposed to be refrigerated. As long as VSL is doing good for you I wouldn't mess with something else. I have done that twice now and had a setback both times.

I would have to agree with garylouisville. Last time I messed around and switched probiotic brands, my gut was very unhappy about it. I'd guess the VSL shipment will get there pretty fast.

Garden Of Life was the only other Probiotic I tried, before VSL#3.

When I tried it, I started getting flu like symptoms and my bowels were becoming even more irritated. I did it for about 2 weeks and decided enough was enough. This was just my experience, if you read reviews on Amazon, alot of them are great.

I have never had any problems with VSL#3, no matter how many capsules I take from 1-5 it has never effected me adversely.

My symptoms got far worse when I took Primal Defense by Garden of Life. I know some people have had good results, but my gut really did not like this brand. I now use Renew Life 50 billion organisms and am having good results.

I rarely see anyone who uses it.
I'd never use it.

After reading the posted responses, I have cut back on the VSL#3 to stretch it out hoping to get the shipment on Tues. I don't really want to risk rocking the boat.
