Quincy, I eat potatoes, tomatoes, and lots of peppers. I'm in Houston, TX, so, everything is Tex-Mex (peppers, paprika, tomatoes, tomatillos,etc), Mexican (tomatillos, lots of peppers) or Louisiana Cajun food (cayenne, peppers). I was just noticing the regional food for me is heavy on nightshades.
I was thinking of eliminating because of the connection with inflammation plus I was allergic to tomatoes as a child growing up in New Mexico and Texas. Don't know if that has any connection, but I was also allergic to wheat and I think I feel better not eating it now.
